Falling in Love with Life
Weekend Workshop with The Work of Byron Katie
with Tom Compton, Certified Facilitator
May 25 – 27, 2012 in Calgary

Do you ache to love the life you have…
rather than continuously yearn for things, people, jobs, home, to be different?

Do you fear you are missing your own life, your precious time here, as you continuously focus on “fixing” what appears to be broken – in you, in others, in Life?

If God said, “Rumi,
pay homage to everything that has helped you enter my arms,”
there would not be one experience of my life,
not one thought,
not one feeling,
not any act,
I would not bow to.
~Jalaludin Rumi, as translated by Daniel Ladinsky

The Work is a way to identify and question the thoughts that would prevent us from meeting Life as it is with our whole hearts open to it, and to those around us.
It is a simple and powerful process of inquiry that can bring you back to the peace of your true nature, to the realization that you actually do Love Life – and there’s nothing you can do about it.

“All experiences, regardless of how painful, hold the possibility of opening our heart to our Self and to Life. It’s time to stop opposing Life and join Life. Let’s begin, again, falling in love with life, one thought at a time.” – Tom Compton
